Exclamation 10 Day Old Threads - Do Not Post!
If you have ever tried to post to a thread that has been dormant, you will probably have seen a big orange box telling you not to post.

It looks just like this:

There are several reasons why we have this rule:

Our fakirs work hard on their creations, and they want you to see them. There is nothing more frustrating to a fakir than having their new work buried under a slew of replies to old posts.

It's also misleading when people see members who are no longer active popping up in the recent threads list.

If you want to show your appreciation for an old fake, use the thanks button.

The threads most likely to be relevant after 10 days are often in the Forum Arms, which is exempt from the 10 day rule anyway.

As the site gets more popular, this seems to be happening more and more, which means the Admin team spend mroe and more time deleting the offending posts.

Please be aware that from now on, any posts to a thread that has been dormant for more than 10 days will be deleted, and the poster will be banned until they contact a member of the Admin team grovelling on their hands and knees and promising never to do it again.

Cheers,
Vin.

STOP! Please don't reply to this old thread. We don't want threads older than 10 days being resurrected. Use the thanks button instead.

IGNORE this message if in the General or Tutorial sections.

To post an out of date thread you will have to ignored these instructions.Ignoring instructions is breaking the rules!Breaking the rules means being banned! So to those of you who think this is fun, think again because I will be in banning mode the next time I see a resurrected post!! :rules:Thankyou2
